M.B.I. System
The MBI machine can find cancers as small as 1mm in any age of ladies or those with high breast density.
The MBI system has an accuracy of 97% compared with MRI of 87%. Unlike a mammogram, the patient is sat down and there is no compression.
This makes MBI very useful when the patient cannot stand or is in a wheelchair or has conditions that do not enable them to have any form of X-ray radiation or MRI, whilst being only a 1/5th of the cost of an MRI.
